In a disoriented and estranged world, Speranta TV offers a Christian perspective on current issues and promotes true values in society. Through the warm and optimistic tone of its shows and the love for people, Speranta TV stands by all those in need of hope, as well as those who have found it and wish to share it with others.

Speranta TV is affiliated with the Hope Channel television network, officially launched in 2003, which encompasses 12 global channels and broadcasts in many languages worldwide, utilizing 13 satellites and 16 different networks. Hope Channel programs are watched by over a billion people across all continents through free-to-air TV stations, satellite, cable, and websites.

In Romania, Speranta TV has a relatively short history. At the beginning of the last decade, the Hope Media production studio was established, where documentaries and shows were produced for broadcast on other TV channels. On September 2, 2002, the show "In Centrul Atentiei" was launched on Realitatea TV. After just a few weeks, the HopeMedia studio was connected via fiber optics to RealitateaTV, making the show live and broadcasted until May 2004.

Between 2004-2005, a production center was built and equipped, and the bold idea of creating its television channel took shape. The first day of broadcasting for the new channel, Speranta TV, was April 30, 2007, at 6 p.m. The station's slogan is "Passion for Life," and the values it promotes - hope, freedom, trust in the power of faith to ennoble human existence.

Currently, the program schedule combines original productions (80% of airtime) with high-quality programs taken from Hope Channel International and other sources. Weekly, more than 17 hours of live programming take place, allowing interaction between hosts and audiences in both Romania and abroad.

Supporting families and youth, education for a healthy lifestyle, sharing experiences of courage and social responsibility, fostering good taste, cultivating culture and biblical spirituality - these are some of the main themes that define Speranta TV's programs.
